Job Brief<\/h3>\n

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable applicants for the above position for immediate employment. The IITA BIP in pursuance of its vision and mission seeks suitable applicants for the above position.<\/p>\n

Roles and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Ensure prompt servicing of vehicles<\/li>\n
  • Undertake driving assignment<\/li>\n
  • Clean assigned vehicles<\/li>\n
  • Report the mileage to the Admin officer<\/li>\n
  • Carry out minor vehicle repairs<\/li>\n
  • Obey all traffic rules<\/li>\n
  • Make sure that the vehicle is always fueled and set for use<\/li>\n
  • Conduct a regular, thorough inspection of the vehicles before use<\/li>\n
  • Report potential mechanical faults on vehicles<\/li>\n
  • Supporting Technical Officers during field assignments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Ability to manage pressure<\/li>\n
    • Strong driving experience<\/li>\n
    • Ability to adhere to instruction<\/li>\n
    • Good communication skills<\/li>\n
    • A clean driving record<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with GPS devices<\/li>\n
    • Ability to read and write<\/li>\n
    • Proven experience as a Driver<\/li>\n
    • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar role<\/li>\n
    • Experienced in working in a diplomatic environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualification<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • OND in Business\/Public Administration or any other related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \n
        • 6 month renewable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
