The mission is to provide medical care in emergencies. However, we are currently looking for a Nurse to fill the above position.<\/p>\n<h3>Roles and Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Offer psychological support to patients<\/li>\n<li>Provide adequate and timely quality nursing care<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on blood transfusion<\/li>\n<li>Ensure high standards of hygiene<\/li>\n<li>Make sure patients are properly received<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that patients with a lack of autonomy are assisted<\/li>\n<li>Assisting medical staff during consultations<\/li>\n<li>Carry out admission, surveillance and follow-up of patients<\/li>\n<li>Organize and carry out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that patients who need blood transfusion get it quickly<\/li>\n<li>Ensure blood samples are taken as instructed by the doctor<\/li>\n<li>Support the pharmacy in doing inventories<\/li>\n<li>Ensure patient safety by complying with the protocol<\/li>\n<li>Pay attention to PEP and report urgently any incidents<\/li>\n<li>Attend training and meetings, as directed by the Medical referent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Requirements<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Flexible, patient and adaptable to a changing environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to changing needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in Nursing related studies or medical profile<\/li>\n<li>Must be registered with the Nigeria Nursing Council<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years post qualified<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience with ALIMA or other NGOs in developing countries is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Conditions of Job<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The contract term law in Nigeria law is 6 months, renewable with 2 months probation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Job type<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Location<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Osun<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How to Apply<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested and qualified candidates should click the apply button to submit their cover letters, and CVs using the job title as the subject of the email<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2733,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"Osun","_application":"recruitment@nigeria.alima.ngo","_company_name":"","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-types":[48],"class_list":{"0":"post-1454","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","5":"hentry","6":"job_listing_type-ngo-non-profit-association","8":"job-type-ngo-non-profit-association"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
