Delivery of quality work requires high-calibre staff, striking the right balance between technical excellence, country knowledge, and client focus. This position is critical to the overall performance of the Bank at the Nigeria duty location.<\/p>\n<p>The selected candidate will supervise the bank&#8217;s administrative functions at the Nigeria location. The incumbent will supervise about a dozen Bank staff and several bank staff. The position entails interacting with Global Corporate Solutions, Resource Management, Corporate Real Estate, Corporate Security, Health Service Department, IT, Administration and Client Support.<\/p>\n<h4>Roles and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of the outsourced administrative services for the office<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassies and other protocol unit<\/li>\n<li>Act as point of contact for consultation and queries on admin-related internal and external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose and aesthetically appealing facilities in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Implement the telephone and telecommunications policy, including chargeback processes<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the country office mail, pouch room, mail courier services and office stationery supplies<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the Bank printing activities<\/li>\n<li>Oversee operations of the Bank cafeteria and kitchenettes<\/li>\n<li>Manage administrative procurement contracts and processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Requirements<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lead and supervise diverse resources and staff<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to persuade others and commit them to the desired course of action<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to work simultaneously, effectively, and efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Strong client focus including good interpersonal<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate effectively in a matrix management environment<\/li>\n<li>Building skills for building and maintaining<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide guidance and mentor junior staff<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to deal sensitively in a multi-cultural environment and build effective work relations with client<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualification<\/h4>\n<p>BSc in Business Administration<\/p>\n<h4>Duration<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>How to Apply<\/h4>\n<p>Candidates are requested to submit an online application through <strong>https:\/\/worldbankgroup.csod.com\/ats\/careersite\/search.aspx?site=1&amp;c=worldbankgroup<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Type job no: req25026 into the keyword or ReqID and click the search button.
