Consultants (CONMESS 05)<\/h3>\n<h3>Internal Medicine<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Respiratory Physician (Pulmonologist)<\/li>\n<li>Infectious Disease Physician<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Surgery<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Cardiothoracic Surgeon<\/li>\n<li>Plastic Surgeon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must possess an MBBS or MBBCH<\/li>\n<li>Must be a member of the National Postgraduate\u00a0 Medical College of Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must possess a current practice license<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed NYSC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Category B.<\/h3>\n<h3>Registrars (CONMESS 03)<\/h3>\n<p>Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Surgery, Anaesthesia, Family Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Histopathology, Chemical Pathology, Haematology, Medical Microbiology and Psychiatry.<\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must possess an MBBS or MBBCH<\/li>\n<li>Must be fully registered by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must possess a current practice license<\/li>\n<li>Must be a member of the National Postgraduate\u00a0 Medical College of Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed NYSC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Category C.<\/h3>\n<h3>Medical Officers ( CONMESS 03)<\/h3>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates must possess MBBS, MBBCH or its equivalent obtained from a recognised University<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Must have completed NYSC or be exempt from it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Category D.<\/h3>\n<h3>Senior Nursing Officers (CONHESS 09)<\/h3>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prospective candidates must possess a B.NSC from an accredited department of Nursing Science and a University<\/li>\n<li>Must have a current practising license<\/li>\n<li>Proof of completion for internship<\/li>\n<li>NYSC discharge certificate or exemption<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a post-basic qualification in any of the Nursing specialities will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Category E.<\/h3>\n<h3>Nursing Superintendents (CONHESS 07)<\/h3>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prospective candidates must possess an RN, RM<\/li>\n<li>Must have post-basic Nursing qualification in any of the following: Accident and Emergency, Orthopaedics, Burns and Plastic, Anaesthetics, ENT, Oncology and Paediatrics<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must have a current practising license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Location: Umuahia<\/h3>\n<h3>How to Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Interested applicants with the required qualifications and experience as stipulated against their post are requested to submit two (2) copies of their applications with photocopies of their credentials, detailed curriculum vitae, Birth certificate\/ Statutory declaration of age, evidence of the state of origin and three (3) confidential reports from three different referees.<\/p>\n<h3>Submission of Application<\/h3>\n<p>All applications should be addressed to the Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia and submitted to the office of the Head of Administration.<\/p>\n<h3>Closing Date<\/h3>\n<p>All applications should be submitted within six weeks of this publication.
