Position: Pipeline Engineer
Job Brief
WTS Energy needs a pipeline engineer to manage our pipeline system. Nevertheless, this position requires good knowledge of pipeline engineering ethics procedures. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must be able to coordinate different projects with ease.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create pipeline design and engineering
- Ensure truthfulness and consistency of the pipeline system
- Performing hydraulic investigation
- Create and implement operative project controls to attain project aims
- Execute a complete pipeline integrity management program
- Overseer and uphold the situation of pipelines
- Provide technical assistance to field teams
Requirements
- Must process project management certification such as PMP
- Ability to work with ease in a multidisciplinary environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong analytical skills
- Minimum of 15 years of upstream oil industry experience
- Proficiency in pipeline imitation software such as Caesar II, Pipe Flow and CAD software
Qualification
- BSc in Engineering
- An MBA or MSc in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any related discipline is an added advantage
