Roles and Responsibilities
- Greet customers when entering
- Resolve customer complaints
- Offer assistance to customers when needed
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Receive payment
- Ensure accurate pricing
- Handle customer purchases by making use of the POS
- Manage transactions with customers
Requirements
- Senior Secondary School Certificate
- 1 year of experience as a cashier in a supermarket or retail store
- Ability to work with a computer
- Comfortable using POS machines
- Attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
- Able to work shifts, weekends, including public holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Accuracy in handling cash and good numerical ability
