Position: Structural Engineer
Job Brief
Worldwide Technical Services is a leading Engineering operation and maintenance service. We are searching for a Structural Engineer who will provide the Company with strategic expertise across the Group’s operations. Nevertheless, to succeed in this role the ideal candidate must manage risks and optimise revenue opportunities to support organizational growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor construction, and outfitting activities at the fabrication yard
- Liaise with other Company staff at the site
- Direct technical evaluation of the bids and prepare technical recommendations
- Support in pre-commissioning for discipline-related activities
- Follow-up procurement, construction, expediting
- Evaluate planning updates including the critical path for discipline-related activities
- Assess and comment on contractor documents within the project review succession
- Report any deficiencies or changes to the Contractual scope of the basis of design
- Allow progress for discipline-related activities
- Ensure that contractor resources and organization are adequate
Requirements
- 10 years experience in the design of offshore projects
- Ability to mark up drawings on-site
- Attention to details
- Excellent communication skills
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering
