Position: Software Engineer/Developer

An information and communication technology company with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry with a passion for ICT solution development, with the best and latest technology to meet the needs of the different industries and government agencies is looking for a dynamic and experienced software engineer/developer to join her team.
Roles and Resposibilities
- Develop software verification plans
- Comply with project plans
- Writing and testing code
- Collaborate with team members
- Ensuring proper documentation
- Applying software engineering principles
- Monitor for bugs and issues that are uncovered
- Checking and evaluating existing systems
- Ensure software is updated with the latest features
- Maintain all software and create updates regularly
Requirements
- Preferably a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Must have developed a desktop or web application with Java SE and servlets, JSP and application must have been used by users or customers for at least 6 months
- Emotionally intelligent
- Interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving capability
- Experience with test-driven development
- Analytical and logical thinking
- Ability to work without supervision
- Proficiency in software engineering tools
- Proficient in Java, C++, and other object-oriented programming languages
Qualifications
- Preferably a degree in Science, Computer Science/ Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering etc
