Position: Senior Legal Manager
Job Brief
We are a group of companies with offices, estates, projects, warehouses etc all over Nigeria. However, we continuously build, acquire, renovate and upgrade existing structures and construct new ones. Therefore, as part of our long-term plans and expansion, we have vacancies at senior levels for highly competent, result-oriented individuals as Senior Legal managers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate regulatory compliance-related services
- Translate laws and regulations for real estate transaction
- Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation
- Counsel clients accordingly
- Negotiating property
- Defend the company in litigation
- Support legal and general advisory
- Apply effective risk management techniques
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
- Preparing lease agreements such as Deeds of Assignment, addenda, licenses, etc
Requirements
- Experience in real estate law and industry knowledge
- Good understanding of foreclosure
- Strong analytical thinker
- Excellent conceptual and research skills
- Sound judgment skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to write and present findings
- Technical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A high degree of professional ethics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law LL.B (Second Class Upper Division) from a reputable University
- A Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) will be an added advantage
