Position: Senior Accountant
Job Brief
Suregifts is the top gift voucher solutions company in Africa, we are searching for a Senior Accountant to oversee and direct our accounting department. However, in this role, you will be tasked with efficiently preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare a financial statement for the management decision
- Directing the Financial and management accounting processes
- Ensure that all creditors’ balances are diligently
- Implement and approve accounting processes
- Plan and implement accounting operations
- Preparing financial analyses
- Maintaining and reconciling the balance sheet
- Investigating and resolving audit findings
- Create timely and accurate accounting report
- Coordinate and integrate activities towards the achievement of established goals
Requirements
- 7 years experience in Finance Management
- A high degree of integrity
- In-depth knowledge of the local tax systems, IFRS, GAAP
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Ability to manage staff
- Strong analytical skills
- Good practical experience with accounting software
- Detail-oriented and self-organized
- Financial Modelling skills
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
Qualifications
- BSc in Accounting/Banking & Finance or a related field
- Must be a member of ICAN/ACCA/ACA/CPA Certification
- MBA or MSc is an added advantage
