Position: School Resident Nurse
Job Brief
We need the service of an experienced registered nurse to join our team to provide health care services. However, as a School Nurse, one of your major roles is to treat students with injuries and support students with illnesses.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Keep track of students illness
- Assures student safety from time to time
- Provide simple healthcare to students
- Examine medications regularly for expiration dates
- Maintains good accuracy in student health records
- Coach students on healthy habits
- Referral students with special needs to health specialists
Requirements
- Attention to details
- Good nursing skills
- Ability to write referrals
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Good time management
- Strong understanding of first aid
- Must be empathy
- Ability to handle emergency cases
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills
Qualification
- BSc in Nursing or RN
