Position: Safety Advisor Lead
Job Brief
An International NGO is currently looking for an experienced safety advisor lead to take charge and manage our safety lead. The International NGO Safety Organisation was founded back in the year 2011. The INSO is a British charity that supports the safety of aid workers by creating safety coordination platforms.
Nevertheless, INSO provides registered NGOs with a variety of free services which include real-time incident tracking logical reports, emergency management support and staff orientations and training.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide support to NGOs with concurrent
- Supervision of national staff and oversight
- Maintain an in-action information network
- Represent, promote and protect INSO’s mandate
- Smooth the progress of the regional NGO community
- Develop compliance in field team deliveries
- Provide NGOs with suitable and reliable security information
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Safety Advisor Lead
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong team spirit
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in the humanitarian service
- Good reporting skills
Qualification
- BSc or equivalent work experience
