Position: Reconciliation Officer

Job Brief

A Finance company that is into payment solutions, is about to commence operations and has an urgent need for strategic hiring in a bid to achieve superior performance. We are seeking to fill the above position of Reconciliation Officer.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Reconciling payments
  • Issue receipts to customers
  • Generating month-end reports
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Process and reconcile transactions
  • Reconcile and verify bank deposits and payments
  • Verifying and reconciling input documentation
  • Performing daily financial transactions
  • Daily reconciliation of transactions
  • Account reconciliations such as inventory control and  bank

Requirements

  • Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in any discipline
  • 5 years of experience out of which at least 4 must be from the financial services industry
  • 2 years at the senior management level
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACIB, etc would be an added advantage
  • CIBN issued Certificate in Microfinance Banking
