Position: Electrical Technician
Job Brief
A leading independent oil and gas company based in Nigeria is operating vigorously. However, due to our recent expansion, we are seeking to hire an electrical technician to join our team. Therefore, the successful candidate must have sound knowledge of operational electrical practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Constantly carry out checks on electrical components
- Provide support to the HSES teams
- Ensure compliance with safety
- Directing electricians
- Inspects circuit breakers
- Maintain and Install electrical systems
- Repairing malfunctioning equipment
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical production
- Ability to repair faulty components
- Proven ability to lead projects
- Good leadership skills
- Result oriented
- Attention to detail
Qualification
- HND or BSc in a core engineering discipline
- Minimum of second-class upper/credit
- A master’s degree will be an added advantage
