Position: Radiographer
Job Brief
We are looking for a Radiology professional to join our team and work directly with patients to perform radiologic imaging procedures. In this position, you will play a very important role in helping Doctors and other healthcare professionals diagnose and treat patients in our facility.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Arrange equipment for use
- Sterilising of equipment when needed
- Preparing patients for exams
- Explaining test procedures
- Operating radiographic equipment
- Oversee contrast agents for patients
- Calibrating of equipment to provide clear images
- Communicating with physicians about the results of tests
- Log and organise image results
- Reading diagnostic imaging
- Monitor patients and ensure their safety during imaging procedures
Requirements
- Must be a resident in Lagos
- Have 2 years post- NYSC job experience
- Attention to detail
- Patient service skills
- Excellent communication
- Interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion
- Problem-solving skills
- Good analytical
- Strong ability to operate and understand radiographic
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
