Position: Quality Manager

 

Job Brief

Olam Agri supplies food, feed and fibre to meet rising demand and a shift to protein-based diets, particularly in Asian and African countries. However, our Headquartered is in Singapore and is present on all continents. Nevertheless, our value chains include farming, processing, and distribution operations and a sourcing network of an estimated 2.5 million farmers. Olam Agri has dedicated teams that have built leadership positions in many Olam Agri businesses. As a Quality Manager, your responsibility is to ensure consistent production quality by ensuring GMP, validating processes, providing documentation and managing staff in your team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all testing procedures are as per SOP and international process
  • Delivering timely & accurate results to the Production team
  • Ensure all delivered test results are reliable
  • Create Internal standards for Raw material
  • Maintains and updates all documentation
  • Preparation of all reports (Daily MIS, Monthly MIS, CoA etc.)
  • Mock drill of product recall/traceability at least once in 3 months
  • Testing of all products related to paddy and Rice
  • Keep posted on related documents for statutory requirements
  • Attends to market complaints at any location

Requirements

  • Strong attention to details
  • Able to deviation report preparation
  • Good time management
  • Able to dispatches to meet the specification of internal/external/customer requirements
  • Sound knowledge of testing of all products
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate with other functions namely warehousing, Manufacturing etc

Qualification

  • Degree in business administration or relevant field
