Position: Project Design Lead
Job Brief
Worldwide Technical Services is a leading Engineering operation and maintenance. We are hiring a Project Design Lead, to process deliverables that meet the COMPANY and standard specifications and are delivered within the schedule. Therefore, the ideal candidate will address all clarifications related to the process.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Direct the design phase of upstream oil & gas projects
- Support technical guidance and oversight throughout the design process
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
- Liaise with internal stakeholders
- Identify potential risks and challenges
- Ensure alignment throughout the design phase
- Implement robust quality assurance processes to maintain design
- Drive innovation and efficiency in project design processes
- Monitor project budgets
- Collaborate with project team
Requirements
- Technical expertise in upstream oil & gas project design
- In-depth knowledge of upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SAP.
- Proficiency in engineering design principles
- Good knowledge of project management
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering or relevant field
- A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project design and engineering
