Position: Procurement Officer

Job Brief

We are a recruiting agency that delivers top-quality training in Lagos, we are seeking an experienced procurement officer to coordinate our purchasing activities for our client. The job holder will ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and high-quality.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the routine procurement activities
  • Source and purchase materials
  • Monitoring the delivery of goods
  • Negotiate prices
  • Managing inventories
  • Implement the company’s procurement policies
  • Maintain and update the list of suppliers
  • Work hand in hand with team members
  • Ensure timely delivery
  • Comply with the company policy

Requirements

  • 3 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid knowledge of procurement principles
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Good analytical thinking
  • Ability to research and preserve all relevant internal control
