Casalavoro Limited is seeking to hire an experienced procurement officer to oversee our purchasing activities. The job holder will ensure that purchased items are cost-efficient and of high quality. Nevertheless, you will manage suppliers and ensure the timely delivery of all items.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the routine procurement activities
- Source and purchase materials
- Monitoring the delivery of goods
- Negotiate prices
- Managing inventories
- Prepare purchase request
- Maintain accurate records of purchases
- Ensure timely delivery
- Maintain and update the list of suppliers
- Work hand in hand with team members
- Monitor stock levels
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery
- Comply with the company policy
- Source reliable vendors and suppliers for materials
- Resolve any issues related to supply or delays
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Solid knowledge of procurement principles
- Able to manage multiple sourcing categories
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid negotiation skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Good analytical thinking
- 1-3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Good knowledge of inventory control

- OND or SSCE qualification
