Position: Procurement Engineer
Job Brief
Worldwide Technical Services is a leading Engineering operation and maintenance service. We are hiring a Procurement Engineer who will provide the Company with strategic expertise across the Group’s operations. Nevertheless, to succeed in this role the ideal candidate must manage risks and optimise revenue opportunities to support organizational growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement Engineering and Procurement related corporate
- Support and enforce the HSE Project objectives
- Ensure all HSE targets are achieved
- Track the HSE performance of Contractors and their sub-contractors
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to HSE
- Report any anomalies, and initiate STOP procedures for unsafe acts
- Ensure strong compliance with documented HSE Plans and procedures
- Identify and manage all necessary procurement engineering studies
- Propel procedures and establish and maintain specific procedures as needed
- Informed of procurement-related Company Specifications (GS’s/GR’s), international norms
Requirements
- 10 years experience in project
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Organizational skills
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (Procurement Engineering) equivalent or more
