We need a reliable Pharmacy Technician in St. Ives Specialist Hospital to be part of our team. The job holder will have to work according to the direction of a pharmacist. Furthermore, you will be offering a comprehensive range of medical services with a focus on your unique needs.
St. Ives Specialist Hospital is a multi-specialist hospital which opened in 1996. The hospital offers dedicated specialist services in all matters of women, children and family health, managed by a group of consultants in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Medicine & Surgery.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels
- Recording medical histories of patients
- Arrange and label medication
- Responding to inquiries
- Performing inventory
- Accept written prescriptions
- Select the proper medicine
- Measuring patient dosages
- Processing prescriptions of the patient
- Comply with all regulatory standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician
- Attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of medication
- Knowledge of pharmacy law
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- 2 year working experience
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Qualification
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
