Position: Pharmacy Technician
Job Brief
We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician who will process and fill prescriptions. The job holder will also manage the counter medicine to customers. Nevertheless, you will also be in charge of checking and evaluating written prescriptions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Verifying the accuracy of patient information
- Recording medical histories of patients
- Arrange and label medication
- Responding to inquiries
- Performing inventory
- Accept written prescriptions
- Select the proper medicine
- Measuring patient dosages
- Processing prescriptions of the patient
- Comply with all regulatory standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician
- Attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of medication
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- A certified Pharmacy technician is an asset
Qualification
- BSc in Pharmacology or any Biological Sciences
