Position: Pharmacy Assistants

Job Brief

One of our clients needs a resourceful pharmacy assistant to perform all clerical duties necessary for the effective running of the pharmacy. The job holder’s responsibilities include creating and maintaining patient files and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Taking a record of pharmaceutical supplies
  • Coordinating sales transactions
  • Regulatory all questions relating to prescriptions to the pharmacist
  • Accurately giving out prescriptions
  • Attending to emails
  • Label package medications
  • Educate patients on basic medication

 Requirements

  • Attention to detail
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Trustworthy
  • Able to use  a computer
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualification

  • BSc in Pharmacology
