Position: Perioperative Nurse
Job Brief
Solid Rock Hospital in Lagos State Ojodu needs a Perioperative Nurse to support surgeons during operations. The ideal candidate must possess remarkable efficiency and attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensuring the operating room is well sterilized
- Prepare the patient on the operating table
- Pass medical objects to the surgeon in the course of the operation
- Check the patient’s vital signs
- Assemble all tools needed for the operation
- Assess patients in postoperative stages
- Observe all safety standards
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Proven experience as a Perioperative Nurse
- Good communications skills
- Basic Life Support certificate
- Must have a valid license
- Solid knowledge of surgical operation procedures
