Position: Optometrist
Job Brief
An eye hospital in Lagos State is searching for a qualified optometrist to join our growing practice. Therefore, as an optometrist, you will be expected to use your skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conducting eye examinations
- Diagnose defects of the eye
- Maintain accurate medical files
- Advise patients on proper eye care
- Prescribe medications
- Analyzing test results
- Provide basic treatments and vision therapy
- Assess eye defects and diseases
- Perform pre- and post-operation checks
- Keep accurate medical records for patients
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years working experience
- In-depth understanding of eye conditions
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills
- Work experience as an Optometrist
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualification
- Degree in Optometry
