Position: Ophthalmic Nurses
Job Brief
An Eye Hospital located in Ikeja seeks the services of compassionate and skilled Ophthalmic Nurses to be part of our team. However, you will be responsible for providing care to patients with eye problems. Nevertheless, you must be able to assess patient requests and respond appropriately.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Performing key nursing tasks
- Maintaining patient record
- Ensure patients follow instructions
- Recording information concerning patient
- Monitor patients during examinations
- Prepare patients for surgery
- Arranging patients for treatment
- Assisting with operations
- Provide after-surgery care
- Directing patients on how to administer medication
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate with a patient
- Ability to identify common eye conditions
- More than 2 years of working experience
- Able to explain procedures to patients
- Must have a Nursing license (RN) and a certificate in Ophthalmic Nursing
