Job Brief
A reputable hospital in Lagos mainland is seeking a competent Midwife to be part of our medical team and coordinate the healthcare services. Therefore, to be successful in this role the ideal candidate must be up and doing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Teaching new mothers how to take care of their newborns
- Monitoring the health of pregnant women
- Assisting women in labour
- Provide full antenatal care
- Identify high-risk pregnancies
- Monitoring women in labor
- Teaching patients with pain management techniques
Requirements
- Must be a registered Nurse
- Proven experience working as a midwife
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good teamwork skills
- Clinical assessment skills
- Must be Patient and compassionate
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Effective communication skills
