Position: Maintenance Engineer
Job Brief
We are a leading Upstream Oil and Gas Company with active operatorship of prolific blocks. As a result of our current expansion and development programmes, we are seeking to engage experienced, passionate, intelligent and resourceful professionals to fill the vacant positions above.
Therefore, the ideal candidate must have a good knowledge of facilities practices in piping process and facility engineering. He or She must know rotating equipment, wellhead operations and maintenance as well as a good understanding of Lease automatic custody transfer (I.ACT) unity operations.
Nevertheless, the candidate must have a detailed understanding of hydrocarbon processing systems operations, maintenance and board experience in the oil and gas maintenance operations
Minimum Education and Work Experience
- Provide maintenance support to the production platform field teams for crude production
- Make sure that the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the maintenance and production team
- Liaise with the senior maintenance engineer to ensure that all maintenance regulatory functions to government agencies and other regulators are carried out effectively and timely
- Knowledge of Rotating equipment, wellhead operations and maintenance is required
- A minimum of 8 years experience in an E&P company
- Must be ready to work under pressure
- Good proficiency with MS Office suite Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Assist with the review of daily crude production reports from all the platforms and flow station and making inputs as necessary for crude oil production sustenance with regards to maintenance operations
- Liaise with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) for equipment technical support and spare provision and supply
- A good understanding of lease automatic custody transfer (LACT) unit operation is required
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering field, a postgraduate degree will be an added advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- General and regularly updated asset register for all company assets
- Develop and constantly review preventive maintenance schedules for all the platform and flow station
