Position: Maintenance Engineer
Job Brief
We are looking to hire a skilled maintenance engineer to install and maintain industrial equipment for our clients. As a maintenance engineer, you will be required to install new equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment faults on site.
Nevertheless, you may also be required to remove old equipment and train staff on equipment operating procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responding to call
- Adhering to all safety
- Diagnosing faults
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment
- Establishing maintenance policies and procedures
- Perform and supervise maintenance-related repairs
- Review daily work orders and provide reports
- Forecasting and strategic planning for system overhauls
- Playing an active role in helping the organization set up and execute
Requirements
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- An ability to work well under pressure.
- Proven work experience

- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Good communication and training skills
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge
- Experience in maintaining utilities such as Diesel generators up to 1,100 kva, Air compressors, Elevators, H.V. equipment maintenance, Heaters, RMU switchyard/ switch gears, Electrical systems, and appliances in high-rise buildings etc
Qualifications
- HND/BS.c in Electrical Engineering with upper credit/second class lower
- Corporate membership of the Nigeria Society of Engineers/COREN
