Position: Loan Officer
Job Brief
We seek an experienced and detail-oriented loan officer to join our growing institution. The job holder will act as a liaison between applicants and our financial institution, assisting qualified applicants to obtain loans with ease. To be successful in this role you must have excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Meet with loan applicants
- Collect information from applicants for loan applications
- Complete loan contracts
- Interview applicants to define financial eligibility
- Monitor and update client account records
- Submit loan applications for applicants
- Prepare detailed loan proposals
Requirements
- Customer relations skills
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a loan officer
- Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
- Ability to work with financial spreadsheets
- Good organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
Qualification
- OND, HND, or BSc in Banking and Finance or related field
