Senior Reservoir Engineer

Candidates for senior reservoir engineer must have good knowledge of technical practices and principles within reservoir engineering including but not limited to reservoir performance analysis, optimization of fields, development planning economic evaluation and reserves evaluation.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Make sure the reservoir and production due diligence on potential farm-ins and acquisitions
• Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in petroleum engineering or other relevant engineering degree with a minimum of second-class upper division
• A master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 10 ten years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering in the oil industry with an E&P operation
• Interpret reservoir data, plots and grants, and apply models to characterize reservoir or field properties
• Must have experience in field development planning and well/project economic evaluation
• Identify opportunities to optimize producing assets improve recovery, increase production rate and reserve additions, prepare estimates of in-place hydrocarbon volumes
• Work with partners and regulatory agencies to gain alignment on well locations, data acquisition
• Develop reservoir performance predictions, and prepare estimates of in-place hydrocarbon volumes
• Carry out reservoir surveillance, and analysis, develop dynamic models and provide direction on subsurface engineering required for proper reservoir management of assets

Senior Petroleum Engineer

Candidates for this position must have good knowledge of technical fractions principles within reservoir engineering including but not limited to reservoir performance analysis, optimization of fields production development planning economic evaluation and reserves evaluation.

Nevertheless, the candidates must have in-depth knowledge of modelling, optimization of well inflow and outflow performances conceptual well and completion design of well reservoir interface and well integrity management.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Candidate must be result-oriented and committed to company goal
• Ensuring that team members follow the standard  environmental and safety regulations of the company
• Develop strategies and methods to recover oil and gas from fields
• Direct and evaluate  reserve performance as well as prepare well performance reports and maps
• Test all petroleum-related equipment and machinery to ensure safety and security
• Identify and generate opportunities to optimize producing assets improve recovery, increase production rate and reserve additions
• Discovering new petroleum reservations and developing cost-efficient, effective methods of petroleum recovery
• Develop reservoir performance prediction, prepare estimates of in-place hydrocarbon volume from different reservoir engineering principles

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in petroleum engineering or other relevant engineering degree with a minimum of second-class upper division
• A master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 10 ten years of petroleum engineering experience with an in-depth understanding of the geologic formation and rock types making up the reservoir well engineering and rig operations
• Must have experience in field development planning and well/project economic evaluation
• Competency in the use of reservoir engineering software (e.g Eclipse, EMBAL.etc) and Microsoft applications including Excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint etc
• Must be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure, ready to travel at short notice and be willing to relocate if necessary

Senior Well Completions Engineer

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in various aspects of hydrocarbon exploration and production activities in shallow and deep offshore environments with extensive experience in engineering production operation, workover completion, stimulation, integrity and field surveillance equipment component of a risk-based integrated network production model.

Nevertheless, He or she must be able to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, work in a team environment and be able to effectively communicate within and outside the company.

Furthermore, applicants must have worked in a managerial position for at least 5 years in a reputable E&P company and have overall E&P experience of not less than 10 years.

Qualifications and Key Accountabilities

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in a core engineering discipline
• A master’s degree or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Coordinate well surveillance operations/study and recommend optimum flow rates for producing well
• Maintain and analyze production data as well as required records for day-to-day production operation
• Must be competent in preparing and championing completion and other reservoir simulation/dynamic modelling material balance and other reservoir modelling runs to understand reservoir behaviour
• Must be very strong in general reservoir engineering production optimization, well interventions and work over opportunity generation, interfacing with drilling and operations teams
• Champion the enforcement of standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
• Ensure company compliance with all regulations from relevant regulatory agencies
• Candidates must be good at using petroleum experts’ MBAL/PROPSER/GAP software
• Must be result-oriented and committed to company goals
• Have a proven ability to plan/lead projects and must be able to work under pressure
