Position: Procurement Officer
Job Brief
WTS Energy is seeking to hire a Procurement Officer for our dedicated team. Nevertheless, the ideal candidate is expected to have a sound knowledge of procurement and be able to carry out offshore services procurement activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Creating reports of activities
- Stock procurement documents
- Keep a good record of all auditable
- Create a buyers list to issue a bidder package
- Oversee the delivery orders and monitor the undelivered orders
- Support commercial discussions with bidders
- Work hand in hand with team members
Requirements
- Strong team player
- Good knowledge of procurement policy
- 3 – 5 years of procurement experience if possible in the oil and gas sector
- Must be a member of an appropriate Professional bodies
- Physical fit
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledge of technical details of mechanical purchases in the oil and gas sector
Qualification
- BA/BS degree or HND in an Engineering discipline, Business or Accounting
