Position: Subsea Structural Engineer
Job Brief
Worldwide Technical Services is a leading Engineering operation and maintenance. We are looking for a Subsea Structural Engineer to join our dedicated team. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be in constant alignment with H3SE Company rules, Procedures, Instructions and applicable legislation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the engineering activities related to the assigned scope
- Manage the subcontracted of discipline engineering documents
- Assess Client’s technical documentation and requirements
- Collaborate with other professional for the assessment of the system performance
- Ensure completion of the documentation comments received by the Client
- Provide the final technical documents for material purchasing
- Evaluate reports relevant to tests performed
- Supporting the Subsea Engineering leader
- Participate in the suppliers’ qualification procedure
- Resolving technical problems arising during project development
Requirement
- Strong understanding of Discipline in engineering design
- Ability to analyze engineering documents
- Solid 2D and 3D modelling – Knowledge is required
- Ability to design subsea structures
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Ability to perform tie-in design
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Piping engineering design is required
- Ability to test Engineering Material Testing –
- Good knowledge of main international Discipline standards and regulations
Qualifications
- B.Sc./B.Eng./B.Tech./HND Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
