Position: Internal Control Officer

Job brief

One of our clients urgently needs a dedicated internal control officer to help track and increase the value of internal control. Nevertheless, the ideal candidate also works as part of the business risk. Furthermore, you are to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory standards in the organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the activities of every department
  • Ensure that operational risks are clear
  • Coordinate all internal projects
  • Delivers adequate reports 
  • Create an appropriate communication channel
  • Ensure value for money is attained
  • Assist internal and external auditors during reviews
  • Monitor the company’s internal control systems

Requirements

  • Strong experience in internal control 
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • 2 years of proven experience in internal control or auditing
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Knowledge of control and risk management

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, Business or any related field
