Position: Human Resources Manager
Job Brief
A commercial law firm based in Lagos Nigeria, requires the service of a Human Resources Manager to be part of our dedicated team. You will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action
Roles and Responsibilities
- Carrying out necessary administrative duties
- Resolving employee conflicts and grievances
- Provide technical support and advice
- Capability building to enhance team skills
- Direct all centre human resource departmental
- Advise in areas where needed
- Build up staff appraisal management system
- Maintain staff development initiative
- Consider the recruitment request
- Direct the allocation of human resources budgets
Requirements
- knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Good understanding of national labour laws
- Capability to work in a stressful environment
- Experience in the usage of computer system
- Proven leadership skills
- Fluency in English and the ability to speak the Hausa language are necessary
- Competence to develop and effectively direct interpersonal relationships
- Membership in a relevant professional body will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of project management
Qualification
- BSc in Business Administration, or related discipline with less than 5 years of experience
