Position: Human Resources Manager

Job brief

An indigenous company based in Ikorodu, Lagos State, seeks to hire a Human Resources Manager to oversee the well-being and work performance of the entire staff in our organisation. Nevertheless, the ideal candidate is expected to play a major role in shaping the company culture and coordinating employee performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and advice
  • Capability building to enhance team skills
  • Direct the centre’s human resource department
  • Advise in areas where needed
  • Manage the entire administrative activities
  • Build up a staff appraisal management system
  • Keep up the staff development initiative
  • Evaluate the recruitment request
  • Control the allocation of human resources budgets
  • Build any other HR policies according to the organisational necessity

Requirements

  • Proven leadership skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Good presentation skills
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Good understanding of national labour laws
  • Capability to work in a stressful environment
  • Experience in the use of computer systems
  • Must reside within the Ikorodu axis
  • Professional certifications are a plus
  • 10 years of relevant professional experience in human resources

Qualifications

  • BSc in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration
