Duties of the Receptionist
- Serves as the first point of contact
- Greet guests as they come in
- Directing the check-in and check-out process
- Assisting with administrative tasks
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Manage guest booking
- Dealing with guest complaints
- Processing payments
- Checking guests out
- Manage guestroom allocation
Requirement

Duties of the Maintenance Officer
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests
- Ability to prioritise and organise work
- Plan and supervise renovations
- Fix issues around the hotel
- Liaise with external contractors when needed
- Offer regular inspections of various equipment
- Direct the maintenance budget
- Collaborate with all hotel departments
- Provide brilliant customer service to guests at all times
- Arrange and repair projects in a manner that does not upset guests
Requirements
- Ability to mark safety risks and address needs
- Good delegation skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Strong reporting skills
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations
Duties of a Laundry Man
- Ensure that the facility remains clean
- Wrapping laundry items
- Grouping linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items
- Expect and respond to customers’ queries
- Sorts dirty linen
- Keep track of rag outs on a discard form
- Ensures the washing of linen is up to standard
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the laundry
- Give advice on methods for increasing laundry competence
- Knows all safety and emergency procedures
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy bags of laundry
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Proven work experience as a Laundry Attendant
- Ability to set the wash and dry cycles on the machines based on products
being laundered
