Position: General Manager

Job Brief

A multinational hospitality company in Lagos requires a seasoned General Manager to be part of our team. The job holder will have to oversee the daily activities and coordinate clerical tasks of the hotel.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations functions of the hotel
  • Work with external parties such as suppliers
  • Develop an efficient marketing strategy
  • Regularly Inspect facilities
  • Supervise work at all levels
  • Coordinate all stocktaking
  • Meeting budgets and exceeding revenue targets
  • Ensure that the Management Team is trained appropriately
  • Liaising closely with the sales and revenue team
  • Manage the financial performance of the hotel

Requirements

  • 5 years as a hotel General Manager
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Leadership and liaison skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be under pressure

  • Good understanding of all hotel management

Qualification

  • BSc in Hotel Administration or related field
