Position: Helicopter Landing Officer
Job Brief
WTS Energy is seeking to hire a helicopter landing officer to oversee and ensure the safe landing of the helicopter. Nevertheless, the Helicopter Landing Officer’s eyes must be on the ground to ensure that the pilot has a safe landing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Direct personnel traffic
- Ensure visitors’ logs display the real state
- Check and inspect all safety equipment
- Track lodging of every personnel on board
- Ensure the helicopter takes off in a safe manner
- Connect directly with helicopters
- Plan safety meeting for people leaving by helicopter
Requirements
- Ability to manage people
- Strong attention to detail
- Coordinate loading and unloading of cargo
- Ability to control the safety of people
- Controls refuelling of the helicopter
Qualification
- Standard school certificate
