Position: Head of Well Operations
Job Brief
Worldwide Technical Services Nigeria Limited is one of Nigeria’s leading outsourcing management companies. Nevertheless, we are dedicated to providing excellent services to our clients. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. However, we are seeking a Contracts and Commercials Manager to be part of our finance team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Works to improve contractor performance
- Coordinate the drill team, including the operations Superintendents
- Involved in field operations
- Ensures the rigs are available to drill when needed
- Regularly visits operations to determine drilling program efficiency
- Take part in the preparation of overall plans
- Ensure timely procurement of the right rigs
- Responsible for safety management controls
- Supervise the drill teams in establishing and progressing safety
- Provide technical support for management presentations
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of well engineering experience
- Well site managing experience and good operational knowledge
- Valid supervisor-level Well Control certificate is needed
- Strong knowledge of horizontal, deviated drilling,
- Computer literacy
Qualification
- BSc in any Engineering discipline
