Position: Head of Sales and Marketing

We need a dedicated Head of Sales and Marketing to oversee all our marketing activities and increase our revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a commercial leader ready to build our sales and marketing system. We are a well-known beauty hub in Lekki, offering all kinds of hair brands both in retail and wholesale. At Onyx Beauty Hub, we ensure that our customers get the best quality luxury hair of any kind.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Promote the company brand on various marketing channels
- Develop systems for customer retention
- Build a structured sales pipeline
- Create visibility across social media channels
- Manage and oversee the digital marketing teams
- Experience with digital marketing
- Build systems for customer retention and repeat sales
- Ensure that organisational objectives are achieved
- Oversee the digital marketing team
- Support sales objectives
- Network with industry experts
- Drive brand awareness
Requirements
- 7 years in Sales / Marketing
- Good leadership experience
- Solid negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Decision-making skills
- Ability to use digital marketing tools
- Confident leading teams
- Able to fix sales systems
- Candidate must be a commercial thinker
- Solid background in e-commerce or beauty
The Challenge
- Strongly dependent on Instagram DMs with no structured follow-up
- No visibility into the sales pipeline or customer journey.
- Marketing spend is not clearly tied to revenue
- Website conversion systems not fully optimized.
- No unified leadership across sales and marketing teams.
- Untapped B2B opportunities (salons, resellers, distributors).
- Lack of a multi-channel sales strategy beyond Instagram
