Position: Head of Internal Audit / Compliance
Job Brief
A finance company in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, needs a head of internal audit and compliance to manage and oversee its finance department. However, the ideal candidate is to provide leadership and direction for the Audit team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Providing sound financial support
- Conducting risk management
- Play a main role in the area of business strategy
- Managing the cash flow
- Recommending cost reduction
- Overseeing the company’s financial systems
- Ensure the business has a solid risk framework
- Present financial results
- Managing the financial reporting of the organisation
- Tracking every transaction
Requirements
- Solid IT skills
- Able to work without supervision
- Strong financial management skills
- Good communication skills
- Must be a charted accountant
- Ability to use accounting software
- Familiarity with cash flow management
- Analytical thinker
- 5 years of working experience in the banking sector
Qualifications
- BSc or HND in Accounting
- A master’s degree is an added advantage
