A speciality coffee brand in Abuja seeks to hire a Head of Communications who will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to increase brand awareness.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver a  full-service offer to customers
• Increase brand awareness
• Manage the company’s brand strategy
• propose editorial policies
• Manage professional networks
• Ensure brand consistency
• Develop a social media platform
• Create and implement a comprehensive communication strategy
• Create materials to support employee publication
• Supervise the communication team
• Coordinate effective communications to foster best practices

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage a crisis
• Proven experience in public relations
• Able to manage content across diverse platforms
• Market and vendor knowledge for contract management
• Able to use digital PR tools
• Solid media relations and storytelling
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies or any related field
