Job Brief
Our client a leading educational institution is looking for a Head of Audit for the daily operation of our financial team. However, the ideal candidate is to provide leadership and direction for the Audit team. Therefore, to achieve this, we seek to have on our team a Head of Audit to be part of our team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Providing sound financial support
- Conducting risk management
- Play a main role in the area of business strategy
- Managing the cash flow
- Recommending cost reduction
- Overseeing the company’s financial systems
- Ensure the business has a solid risk framework
- Present financial results
- Managing the financial reporting of the organisation
- Tracking every transaction
Requirements
- Solid IT skills
- Able to work without supervision
- Strong financial management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use accounting software
- Familiarity with cash flow management
- Analytical thinker
- 5 years of cognate experience
Qualifications
- BSc (Second class) or HND (Upper credit) in Accounting
- MBA or professional qualification will be an added advantage
