Position: Head Chef
Job Brief
The company requires the services of an experienced and qualified Head Chef to manage the kitchen activities, inspect the company guest house, and ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the food preparation process
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations
- Ensure variety and quality servings
- Make the kitchen and the environment clean
- Design standardized food presentation guidelines
- Manage staff performance
- Develop and implement new kitchen procedures
- Maintain solid relationships with customers
- Responsible for food hygiene practices
- Monitor inventory levels of various commonly used items
Requirements
- Oversee the work of subordinates
- Arrange for repairs when needed
- Proven work experience as a Head Chef
- Strong ability in kitchen management
- Ability to manage team
- Knowledge of food preparation
- Good oral communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to make use of computer
- Positive and approachable manner
Qualification
- Degree in Culinary service or related certificate
