Position: Guards Supervisors
Job Description
A private security company is currently seeking the service of a guard supervisor to join our team. As a security supervisor, you are to oversee the activities of security guards, you are to conduct patrols of indoor areas that are available to the public and areas that are only accessible by employees.
Also, you are to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations while implementing security measures. You are to supervise security officers and manage them by offering guidance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative measures against thefts and other risks
- conducting of patrols
- Schedules security personnel to cover designated shifts
- Fill in bartending shifts when needed.
- Configure and change infrastructure for compliance
- Supervise and train staff
- Inspect all other assigned equipment
- Managing a small group of security officers
- Respond to emergency calls
- Maintain security monitoring systems
Requirements
- Ability to carry out patrolling duties
- Strong knowledge of security
- Good observant
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Bs.c or HND in any disciple
- Experience in the police or Nigeria Army will be an added advantage
