Media Trust Limited, owners of Daily Trust, Aminiya, Trust TV and Radio is looking for a talented, creative and editorially sound Group Social News Manager. However, The Social Media Manager will lead the Daily Trust and Trust TV social media strategy, reporting to the Online editor.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create community engagement activities
- Writes and edits social posts
- Track metrics for growth
- Engaging with our online audience
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Communicate with all our social media followers
- Create copies for paid and organic social media
- Manage growth strategies for each platform
- Managing our social media accounts
- Set KPI for the team and track metrics for growth
Requirements
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Proven work experience as a Social media manager
- The candidate must be able to assign, commission and guide reporters
- Ability to identify gaps in news items
- Effective time-management skills
