Geologist
Job Abstract
A mineral exploration company is currently recruiting a mineral exploration Geologist with at least five years of practical experience. One of your primary assignments will include going into the field and collecting mineral samples, creating geographical maps of geographical quality and testing rock formation’s natural engineering to prepare for construction.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Interpret and report data
- Organize and lead geology training
- Assess and examine the planet
- Sketch and supervise field studies
- Perform environmental studies
- Collects, analyzes, and catalogues geologic samples
- Acts as a liaison with other agencies
- Maintains records
- Recognize and boost upon research process
- Performing field evaluation
Requirements
- Ability to use statistical software packages to analyze data
- Proficiency in statistics
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of industry guidelines
- Good computer skills
- Excellent geological mapping
- Five (5) years of practical experience
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in geology
