Position: General Manager
Job Brief
We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations. However, as General Manager you will be responsible for managing people and establishing policies. Therefore, to be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive.
The ideal candidate must have cognate experience in sourcing engineering projects, project management and execution, as well as resource management. Nevertheless, the incumbent will collaborate closely with the managing director and senior leadership to drive business growth, operational excellence, and strategic expansion.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the project
- Work with the managing director and finance department
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of various department
- Proven track record of marketing company services and business solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional team
- High ethical standards, professionalism and commitment to quality
- Engage with key clients and industry stakeholders to understand their evolving needs
- Identify partnerships and markets to expand the company’s global presence
- Collaborate with the business development and project team
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline
- Strong background in oil and gas offshore/deepwater projects
- Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within the offshore oil and gas industry
- Proven track record of marketing company services
- Financial literacy with the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional team
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate complex challenges
- High ethical standards, professionalism
- Global perspective and familiarity with international markets and regulations
