Position: Farm Manager
Job Brief
An integrated farm in Ibadan wishes to employ a Manager for its operations. The farm is looking for an energetic and experienced person with exposure to any combination of Animal Husbandry, Crop Farming, and Agricultural Mechanization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the entire farm operation
- Track the quality of yield, whether livestock or crops
- Maintain farm progress against budget parameters
- Arrange for fertilizer and seeds
- Monitor animal health and welfare
- Market the farm’s products
- Arrange for maintenance and repair of farm machinery
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a decent-sized integrated farm
- Self-motivation
- Positive work ethic
- Self-confidence
- Ability to work without supervision
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail
Qualification
- First degree in a relevant area with a minimum of second-class upper or a higher national diploma with upper credit
